Four Kicks Mule Kick is back, but the blend is new
News Article
It seems like revamping blends are the way to go these days. Bringing fan favorites back with a twist certainly gets the crowd amped up. That’s precisely what’s happening with Crowned Heads line Four Kicks Mule Kick. What a mouthful.
Meet the new Four Kicks Mule Kick blend
It was originally launched in 2012, skipped until 2017, and re-released in 2017, with yearly releases until 2023 — except 2021. Yeah, the schedule is a convoluted mess. But what you really need to know is that the Mule Kick has been around in some capacity for quite a while now. It has also been revamped several times, using wrappers like Ecuadorian Sumatra, Mexican San Andrés, Connecticut Habano, and more.
Slated for a 2025 release, the new blend borrows a lot of inspiration from the 2023 series, which wasn’t your average Four Kicks blend. This new setup has a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Mexican San Andrés binder, and Esteli and Jalapa, Nicaraguan fillers. I’m willing to bet it’s going to have quite the kick.
It will return in a Robusto Extra vitola, at 5 7/8 by 52. Hailing from Casa Carrillo, producing for the first time for the Four Kicks label, the MSRP is set at around $16 per cigar. Production will remain limited, however, with an estimated 2,500 boxes at 10 cigars each. The boxes also get a design upgrade this year.
When is the 2025 Four Kicks Mule Kick launching?
We don’t have exact dates just yet, but sometime in 2025 is the best answer. I know, I know, that doesn’t help nail down when you should have some money put aside but there should be more news forthcoming.
Until then, maybe give the 2023 Four Kicks Mule Kick a try and see what you think, if you haven’t already? Bear in mind, that they seem to be sold out everywhere — they’re popular.
